M83 is one of my favorite bands/guy alone pretending to be a band, and they’re about to release their first album since 2008. I’ve come to terms with the fact that they’ll never do an album as epic as 2005′s Before the Dawn Heals Us, but I’m hoping this new one is at least better than the last one which was an electro pop love fest for clichéd afternoons in the sun.
What I’ve heard so far from the upcoming 22 track/2 cd album "Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming" has sounded either epic or really poppy. This song seemed like the best mix of the two, and it contains a lot of the elements that made me love M83 to begin with. Also worth checking out is the officially released track, Midnight City (download), which is a lot more dancey and probably more representative of what the album will sound like.

D’un coté t’as un jeune skater de 20 ans qui a un flow au contenu dark, violent, sexiste, vulgaire, extrêmement réfléchi mais explicitement fictif. De l’autre coté t’as un rapper mainstream qui chante des chansons d’amour mais qui bat sa blonde même si ladite blonde c’est Rihanna.

Une collaboration entre le légendaire hermite (MF)DOOM et l’autant légendaire Thom Yorke est à l’horizon… Voici ce ça quoi ça pourrait ressembler.
Gazillion Ear, une track du dernier de DOOM, Born Like This, s’est méritée assez d’attention pour devenir la track éponyme d’un EP de remixes, dont celui-ci par Monsieur Radiohead.
Si vous avez aimé les 3-4 derniers albums de Radiohead/l’oeuvre solo de Thom Yorke, il suffit d’un petit faible pour le rap pour se laisser emporter dans le monde nébuleux de MF DOOM.
